iPad in the Classroom

Page history last edited by Karen Muska 11 years, 9 months ago

I just found this link http://sites.google.com/site/digitalstorytellingwiththeipad/home while reading a blog posting on Richard Byrne's http://www.freetech4teachers.com/ .  "Digital Storytelling with the iPad" is a site developed by 6 Apple Distinguished Educators.  Check it out if you're considering implementing a 1:1 iPad project in your school or classroom.

Webinar:

"iPad Implementation in Education," presented by Camilla Gagliolo, Carolyn Skibba, Craig Nansen and Fraser Speirs. You can access the recorded Webinar at http://iste.acrobat.com/p19143343/.
Fraser’s video, which we were unable to watch to the end, is located at http://iste.acrobat.com/p26567027/.
Camilla, Carolyn and Craig have created a wonderful repository of iPad resources at https://sites.google.com/site/ipadwebinar/. Please visit and share.
I have created PDFs of all of the PowerPoint presentations, and Craig made a transcript of the Attendee Chat. They will also be located on the site above.
To keep the momentum of the webinar going, ISTE would like to invite you to join the “Join the iPad Revolution” group at ISTE Learning at
http://istelearning.org. To start, create a profile by clicking on the orange bar in the middle (“Become an ISTE Learner.”) Once you have a profile, go to Groups, under My ISTE. Click on “Web 2.0 (iPad Revolution and More!)” Dive in and start collaborating! If you’re already a member of ISTE Learning, go to http://istelearning.org/groups/join-the-ipad-revolution/,
